GDPR

We are here to help with all aspects of GDPR.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) are a set of regulations which come into force on the 25th May 2018. The regulations are designed to make data collection and processing transparent, accessible and understandable. The regulations give more rights to the individual, a "right of access", allowing them to see what data is being collected, how it is being used and why it is being used; most importantly it returns control of the data to the individual allowing them to remove consent and request that data, previously collected, be destroyed.

We understand the importance of data collection within the organisation and are here to help throughout every step of the process from data auditing and mapping to helping in the event of a data breach and even servicing the data requests (subject access requests) brought to you by individuals through our encrypted online system (GMP). We also offer organisations a full DPO (Data Protection Officer) role within which we help your organisation with all aspects of the GDPR and make sure that you are compliant with all of the regulations.

A DPO (Data Protection Officer) is an independent person or an organisation who is tasked with assessing and organising the compliance of an organisation. They are also the first contact, along with company directors, in the event of a data breach whatever the severity and are there to advise and take the correct course of action.

As of the 25th May 2018 all organisations will be required to provide any information, if requested, that they hold regarding the individual. The onus is on the organisation to provide the information to the individual, at the organisations cost, in an easily accessible and secure format in a timely manner; a month is the maximum advised time in which to comply with the regulations.

Our encrypted platform is designed from the ground up to handle all of your GDPR requests, auditing, compliance and breaches. Our online platform, which catalogues all of the different types of data that you hold, how you hold it and the legal basis on which you use it, streamlines the compliance process. Our online platform coupled with our subject access request handling removes the strain from your organisation by eliminating the burden of servicing these requests. The GMP is designed to easily and consistently deliver the requested data to the individual in an easily accessible and understandable format.

Additionally, having one of our specialised team members acting on your organisations behalf as a DPO leaves you safe in the mind that all of your GDPR responsibilities are being taken care of in a professional and timely manner.
